It was recently brought to my atttention by Worldforger that, although I have had a strong affinity for wolves through a lot of my life, I bear more similarities to a fox than a wolf. I thought about it for a bit, and then had to agree. I read up on the arctic fox (because I'm so pale and love snow and the cold) and found that they often follow wolf packs in the search for food. And it sorta made sense then-- I am not a wolf myself, but a follower of wolves.

The kitsune is a fox spirit from Japanese mythology.. a playful (sometimes malevolent) trickster. It can have anywhere from one to nine tails, depending upon its age. Wolrdforger suggested that I have two tails thusfar.. hee hee.
