It's a great community of talented artists, churning out some pretty kickass work. And I'd love to see it grow, and get even better.

With all we've got going on over the next week or so, like moving, there may be days we're forced to do a filler for the comic.

Anyone feel like contributing guest art or guest strips? We've got some fan art I could use to fill in the gaps, but it'd be cooler to have some one-off guest strips, especially since so many of you guys are creative people who do either visual art, writing, or both either professionally or as a hobby.

For that matter, if you write but can't draw and want to send a guest strip, you could send a script and I can throw it at an artist to finish out. Or if you're a visual artist who'd like to do a guest strip but doesn't know what to write, same thing.

Can't pay anything, but in exchange I'll pimp any PG13 or lighter site that you want.

All I ask if you do a guest strip/script/art is that you be fairly familiar with the characters, remember that it probably won't be canon, and keep it to a PG13 level. And keep in mind it should not be connected to any storyline (unless someone wants to do a week-long mini-storyline or something), so's we can run it whenever it's needed.

Oh yeah--And don't make it TOO much better than the regular comic.

In case anyone here hasn't yet been to the site today, it's been intermittently down for most of the day AND parts of yesterday. It appears that, once again, the site's been the victim of a DOS attack.

Honestly.. I don't know what kind of sad individual one must be to derive enjoyment by wasting one's time on such a petty activity. Anyways, our hosts (who, again, have been wonderful thusfar) are working on combating the problem as we speak. BCK will be up and running again as soon as they can possibly manage.
